Remon M. Jourdan is a poet, author, musician and motivational artist from Massachusetts trying to return to his love of writing and performing after a car accident has left him with quadriplegia in 2002. He designs and maintains a personal website, Through music, writing and poetry he showcases his creativity as a means of inspiring and motivating others to “keep moving” in the face of adversity.

Remon is also an ambassador and regional board member for Easter Seals Massachusetts helping to ensure that people with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play. He recently added author to his list of accomplishments, having self-published a children’s book entitled “Willie the Wheelchair.”

When he’s not creating, volunteering or performing, he is absorbing inspiration from his daughter, Nerissa.

Jourdan graduated from University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in Education. He was born and raised in Cambridge where he continues to volunteer by speaking with youth about making good choices.
